The Champion

Charlie was walking along with his bulldog, when he found a " good-luck-horseshoe" in front of an advertisement for a boxing partner.

After watching others lose, and it was his turn, Charlie puts the horseshoe in his glove, while fighting. Surprisingly, he won! Perhaps it was because of the "good-luck-horseshoe"

The trainer prepares Charlie to fight another boxer, but this time, it was the world champion!

Meanwhile, a gambler wanted Charlie to give up in the boxing tournament. He faced many hardships, but still continue to fight with the world champion, despite the gambler's threats.

In the end, Charlie won the boxing champion and fall in love with the trainer's daughter.

The Tramp

Charlie is a tramp on the road.

A hobo bullies him by taking away his lunch, which was a sandwich and throws him a brick instead.Thus he stares at the grass, his stomach growling.

The same hobo molests a farmer's daughter; Charlie comes to save the day with the help of the brick he gave him earlier!

Unfortunately, two more hobos appeared. Surprisingly, Charlie managed to throw them in the nearby lake.

The grateful girl takes Charlie to her home. But saw that the hobos were back, but this time, menacingly trying to break into her house.

He again helps her to drive them away.

Suddenly, the girl's fiancé arrives. Though disappointed, he was a hero, writes a farewell note and leaves for the open road again.
